Youth Leagues
Player Placement
Players are placed on teams by the Youth Hockey Director. The Youth Hockey Director reserves the right to adjust teams as deemed necessary in order to level the playing field between teams in each age division. Siblings in the same age groups are permitted to play on the same team. Carpool requests will also be considered as long as it does not interfere with the even distribution of the teams. The coach’s child will be placed with him/her. Female players and goalies will be permitted to play in a lower division if requested.
Team Structure
Each team will have a maximum of 10 skaters and a goalie. All Corona Inline leagues strive for equal playing time for all players.
League Format
All games and skill sessions are at Corona Inline. You will be contacted with the team your child is on and the first game time. Seasons consist of 10 games, 2 pre-season clinics, 5 skills clinics (Saturdays), and playoffs.
Game Format
Games are usually played during the week at either 5:25pm, 6:20 pm, or occasionally 7:15pm or 8:10pm. Some games will be held on Saturdays. Pre-season clinics will be during the week, and skill sessions and practices are on Saturdays. Games are three, 15-minute periods.
Required Equipment
H.E.C.C. approved helmet with full face cage, elbow pads, shin pads, gloves, pants, stick, skates (no brakes), Corona Inline home/away jerseys (purchased separately in the Pro Shop - $55). Although not required, a girdle and chest protector are recommended.
RINKS Membership (Required for ALL players and goalies)
All players are required to have THE RINKS annual membership, $40 per player/year. Family Memberships are available for $99. You can purchase your Rinks Membership HERE.
AAU Membership
Optional AAU Membership Insurance is available for purchase through www.aauhockey.org
